OUR STORY

Citizens 4 Democracy is a grassroots group of citizens with a mission to help save democracy by getting Kamala Harris elected as President. We are not affiliated with any organization or PAC representing any political candidate.

As passionate advocates for protecting our democracy, Citizens 4 Democracy is dedicated to supporting the democratic vision of an inclusive, sustainable, and prosperous future for all Americans. We believe that: 1) Donald Trump represents an existential threat to our society and way of life, and, 2) many freedoms and protections we have taken for granted will be removed if he is re-elected. For example, Trump takes full credit for removing women's abortion rights.(overturning Roe v. Wade), so women no longer have a federal law protecting their right to choose, and in many states, abortion is now a crime.

​Our primary goals are to raise awareness about the key issues facing our country in this 2024 election and to help mobilize support for Kamala Harris.

One of the focus areas of our efforts is promoting the facts about Donald Trump and his policies and actions regarding the economy, social justice, the environment, and more. We only use information from AI sources that we believe to be fair and non-partisan. 

 

We believe in the power of collective action and grassroots advocacy to drive meaningful change. Our organization asks individuals to get involved in advocacy efforts and make a difference in their communities. We believe that by informing others of the facts and motivating them to do the same, and by taking action to get out the vote, we can protect our democracy.

Although we are a grassroots organization working on a shoestring budget, anyone can join for free without fear of being harassed as we don't solicit donations.
